Hey, Geeks Here is the brand new FlySky FS-ST8 2.4 GHz ANT Transmitter with FS-SR8 receiver (Upgraded Version) from FLYSKY. But why is it here? Why does it arrive? Well, it is made to fill the gap between Flysky’s budget radios like the FS- I6x  and their premium PL 18. This uses the Flysky brand new A N T  transmitter protocol which is supposed to be an upgrade from the older AFHDS 2A but a bit lower than the premium AFHDS 3. It has 10 channels, which is pretty standard and plenty for quadcopters and even slightly complicated airplanes. And you can even use it to track other ground vehicles with this although.

FlySky FS-ST8 2.4 GHz ANT Transmitter does feature an external module port on the back for Jr-style modules. However, it is only compatible with only FLYSKY modules. So no crossfire or ELRS for you.

So, should you invest in this?  Yes, if you want to switch from the older AFHDS 2A to the new A N T transmitter protocol, the FS-ST8 is newer and better, with a lot more capabilities for a little bit more money than the older FS-I6x.
