The new Hello FPGA Kit- by Microchip electronics.
The Entry level kit is designed for end users who has little to medium experience in the Field-Programmable Gate Arrays also known as FPGA.
The giant Mouser Electronics, Inc., authorized global distributor with the newest semiconductors and electronic components is now bringing in the Hello FPGA Kit by Microchip electronics. The Entry level kit is designed for end users who has little to medium experience in the Field-Programmable Gate Arrays also known as FPGA.
The Hello FPGA kit comes with artificial intelligence compatibility and certain digital signal processing prototypes and also bundles with a power monitor GUI that holds the capacity to measure FPGAs actual power consumption. One can put the kit to use in various applications like industrial, communication, medical, aviation and what not.
The FPGA mainboard is based on the SmartFusion®2 system-on-chip (SoC) FPGA. The low-power SmartFusion2 device combines FPGA fabric with a 166-MHz Arm® Cortex®-M3 microcontroller subsystem that includes 256 Kbytes of embedded flash, extensive peripherals, instruction cache, and Embedded Trace Macrocell.
The Hello FPGA Kit comes with an FPGA mainboard which is relying on the SmartFusion2 SoC FPGA. The FPGA mainboard also comes with a Microchip PIC32MX7 microcontroller — which controls the SmartFusion2 SoC, monitor its power, and more — as well as Arduino and Mikroe mikroBUS connectors to provide flexibility for prototyping and expansion. The kit is capable to perform as a separate unit as well as an extension to existing Microchip kits over the PICkit™ Header.
