Step 1: Required Materials
You will require the following materials which are listed below, most of them are available on Robu , few things you can get directly from the local market.
- DC 3-6 V Mini Micro Submersible Water Pump
- 6A 250V AC DPDT ON-ON Rocker Switch with Light
- Liquid Sanitizer
- Wooden Box
- Container
- 2 x AA Batteries
- Pipe
- Wires
Here the reason for using this pump is that it is very cost effective and the switch you can use any. Here I have used DPDT with light as you can see it during night. You can use any box, container, piper , wires and AA batteries depending on your preference. You can also use a AA battery holder if you require.
We will require above components to start with. So lets move ahead and setup everything one by one.
Step 2: Connecting the Pump with the Switch
Connect the pump with the switch as shown below. One portion of the switch will be with the battery holder and the other will be with one side of pump.
Step 3: Arranging the Pipes
Put the pipe on the pump as shown in the above setup diagram. The top pipe which we have connected will help push the sanitizer out from the container.
You can also check this video on how to setup things in short.
Step 4 : Arranging the Setup
Now after the connection and everything is done you need to properly arrange it in-order for it work properly. The first thing you will need is a container where you can put the sanitizer. Also make sure it has enough space that it can hold the pump inside it.( Do not Run submersible pump dry, it can cause damage to the motor.
Here is the video of this tutorial.
Conclusion
We can say from the above that it is very cost effective and efficient. Doesn't require maintenance for longer periods. Let me know what you think about it. Until next time.
