The MMA8452Q is a low-power, three-axis accelerometer with 12-bit resolution, designed for motion detection and orientation sensing. It features I2C communication, integrated motion detection channels, and interrupt capabilities for power-efficient operation. The device consumes between 6 µA and 165 µA, making it suitable for battery-powered applications. It’s ideal for use in e-compasses, activity trackers, freefall detection, and shock monitoring, offering real-time data with high accuracy and flexibility.
